Study enrollment is now complete. Those enrolled in study must have been:
- Veterans must be seen at one of our participating clinics
- Have an active substance use disorder and attend an intake appointment for individual substance use disorder treatment at the participating site
- Have an active PTSD diagnosis and symptoms
- Be willing to be randomized to an evidence-based treatment (either trauma focused or non trauma focused therapy)
- Agree to not receive non-study active psychotherapy for PTSD during the study treatment (case management and supportive therapy are allowed)
- Be available to participate for 12-16 weeks of PTSD therapy
